There were 1,001 Wyoming residents who died of heart disease in 2017, a 4.8 percent decrease from the previous year, according to data obtained from the National Center for Health Statistics.

In 2016, 1,051 Wyoming residents died of heart disease.

The National Center for Health Statistics is the nation’s primary health statistics agency. The CDC and other health-related organizations can use NCHS data for a variety of ends.

Out of the $2.6 billion in total tax revenue collected by Wyoming in 2024, $5.9 million came from public utilities sales taxes, representing an increase from the previous year, when the total was $3.8 million, according to the U.S. Census Bureau’s Annual Survey of State Government Tax Collections (STC).
