There were 212 Wyoming residents who died of Alzheimer’s disease in 2017, a 53.6 percent increase over the previous year, according to data obtained from the National Center for Health Statistics.

In 2016, 138 Wyoming residents died of Alzheimer’s disease.

The National Center for Health Statistics is the nation’s primary health statistics agency. The CDC and other health-related organizations can use NCHS data for a variety of ends.

Out of the $2.6 billion in total tax revenue collected by Wyoming in 2024, $5.9 million came from public utilities sales taxes, representing an increase from the previous year, when the total was $3.8 million, according to the U.S. Census Bureau’s Annual Survey of State Government Tax Collections (STC).
