The Arlington Tomorrow Foundation is now accepting applications for openings on its five-member Advisory Committee.

Created by the Arlington City Council in 2007, the Arlington Tomorrow Foundation is a permanent charitable endowment with a mission to contribute to a thriving Arlington.

Since its creation, the Arlington Tomorrow Foundation has awarded nearly $42 million to Arlington nonprofit organizations, City of Arlington departments and neighborhood groups for projects that help the public.

The Arlington Tomorrow Foundation is seeking candidates throughout The American Dream City who bring varying professional and volunteer backgrounds and some firsthand experience with philanthropy. They should also represent geographically diverse areas of Arlington.

Advisory Committee members are expected to meet at least nine times a year and serve a term of two years.

The deadline to apply is 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 5, 2022.
