Boulder Reservoir Swim Beach Closed Due to Elevated Bacteria Levels (UPDATE – beach has reopened)

0Comments

The Boulder Reservoir swim beach is now open again as of August 10.

UPDATE: The Boulder Reservoir swim beach area is now open again from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. so we’d love for you to come visit. Thanks for your patience and enjoy your visit to the Reservoir!

Yesterday’s closure was limited to the designated swimming area and does not affect boating, waterskiing, fishing or picnicking.

To protect the public, staff routinely test Reservoir water quality. The Reservoir swim area reopens once bacteria levels return to acceptable levels.

For more information and updates, call the Reservoir at 303-441-3461 or check for updates at twitter.com/BoulderParksRec.
