Catholic Vote President: ‘An increasing number of Americans are waking up’ to realize hormone therapy is child abuse

Catholic Vote President Brian Burch commented on a recent decision from the Wyoming legislature that would ban “gender affirming” treatments like hormone therapy on minors.

“The bill’s sponsor, Republican state Sen. Andy Bouchard, courageously spoke the truth,” Burch said.

Bouchard commented on the bill, saying “this has been a big push from the left. It seems to me they want to sterilize children. This is an evil form of child abuse.”

“An increasing number of Americans are waking up to this fact,” Burch said.

Both chambers of the Wyoming legislature passed legislation that would ban the use of hormonal therapies and puberty blockers in children. Wyoming follows Ohio, North Carolina, Missouri and Texas, where similar bills have been passed. In Ohio, the legislature over-turned a veto by the governor.

Leftists who seek governmental intervention in seemingly all facets of life, are offended that the state of Wyoming seeks to protect children from adults who ignore the science regarding the terrible effects of physical mutilation that takes place in the name of “care.” Even national medical organizations such as American Medical Association and the American Academy of Pediatrics oppose these bans, choosing instead “woke” ideology.

Profiting from the mental illness of children by selling physically devastating surgeries echo what Americans witnessed in recent years. During the Covid hoax, big pharma and the hospital industry made billions of dollars while ignoring the science surrounding the dangerous “vaccines.”

Madison, Wisconsin-based Catholic Vote is an advocacy organization that wants to “inspire every Catholic in America to live out the truths of our faith in public life,” according to the group’s website. Founded in 2008, its president is Brian Burch.
