The number of employees on non-farm payrolls in May in the Cheyenne metropolitan statistical area was 47,000, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

This is a 5.1 percent increase since last May when Cheyenne reported 44,700 workers on non-farm payrolls.
