Gov. Ivey announces 2022-2023 trustee selection process

The Auburn University Trustee Selection Committee is pleased to announce the commencement of the 2022-2023 Trustee Selection Process. In a letter released today, Gov. Kay Ivey announced that the Board of Trustees is seeking candidates to fill three seats as follows: the District 3 seat, the District 3 – Lee County seat, and the District 5 seat. The application will open on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2023, at 7:45 a.m. CT. All application-related information, forms and materials may be found on the trustee selection website.

Please note that the application portal will not appear on the site until the morning of Jan. 3. The application will close on Jan. 20, 2023, at 4:45 p.m. CT. The Board of Trustees encourages all eligible candidates to apply. Additional details regarding eligibility may be found in Gov. Ivey’s letter or on the trustee selection website.

Out of the $2.6 billion in total tax revenue collected by Wyoming in 2024, $5.9 million came from public utilities sales taxes, representing an increase from the previous year, when the total was $3.8 million, according to the U.S. Census Bureau’s Annual Survey of State Government Tax Collections (STC).
