IMPACT 307, the University of Wyoming’s business incubator, announced on April 22 that it will hold a Startup Lunch and Learn seminar focused on Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) funding for entrepreneurs and small-business owners. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, April 29, from noon to 1 p.m. at the Wyoming Technology Business Center in Laramie.
The seminar aims to provide attendees with information about leveraging SBIR funding to help grow and scale their companies. This session is designed for startups seeking guidance on navigating early-stage funding opportunities.
The panel will feature Kristin Di Bona, CEO and co-founder of Wyonics; Christoph Geisler, CEO and founder of Unlocked Labs; Jonathan Naughton, founder of Resono Pressure Systems; and Marcus Curley, CEO and creator of FrostyFlake. Together, they will share firsthand insights into the application process for SBIR grants, how to utilize local support resources effectively, and strategies for turning early-stage investments into tangible results.
According to IMPACT 307 organizers, the event is part of ongoing efforts “to connect founders with resources and programming to help them become effective, efficient and networked entrepreneurs.” Attendees are required to RSVP in advance. Lunch will be provided during the event. For those unable to attend in person or preferring virtual participation, online viewing options are available upon registration.
Free parking is offered in designated areas near the venue at 1938 E. Harney St., including a two-hour section in the southwest corner of the adjacent Red Lot or street parking north of the center.
