NOTICE OF JOINT PUBLIC HEARING:

Please take notice that on Monday, April 11, 2022, at 5:30 p.m., the Dayton Town Council and the Planning Commission will conduct a joint public hearing to receive comments from citizens regarding proposed amendments to Section 20-141 of the Subdivision Ordinance regarding lighting requirements and to Section 30-852 of the Sign Ordinance regarding allowed signage in the B-1 zoning district.  Both proposed ordinance revisions may be found attached to this calendar event.

The proposed amendment to the lighting ordinance adds specificity to the current ordinance as to type and placement of street lights in a new subdivision development.

The proposed amendment to the sign ordinance will allow a lot with multiple businesses located in B-1 zoning to have additional signage than what is currently allowed.
