Senator Cynthia Lummis (R-WY) has announced a series of provisions in the recently passed One Big Beautiful Bill that she says will benefit Wyoming. In a statement, Lummis said, “The One Big Beautiful Bill represents a victory for our state and our nation’s future. This legislation reverses years of federal policies that hurt Wyoming’s energy workers and families, instead focusing on real American priorities: expanding domestic energy production, cutting taxes for working families, and backing our ranchers and farmers.”

The bill includes measures aimed at supporting several sectors important to Wyoming’s economy. These areas include coal, oil and gas industries, timber sales and wildfire prevention efforts, state and local revenue streams, investments by the Bureau of Reclamation, livestock protection initiatives, market access for producers, estate tax relief provisions, and incentives to encourage business investment.

Details about each specific provision were not provided in the announcement.
