City of Boulder Offering Two Grant Opportunities for the Arts and Culture Workforce with $915,000 in ARPA Funding
City of Boulder Office of Arts and Culture is offering Arts Administration Rehiring Grants and Artist Hiring Incentive Grants designed to respond to arts industry, COVID-related workforce impacts through targeted grants to arts and culture organizations. Funded through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), these grants are enhancements to rehire arts administration positions that were eliminated due to the pandemic, and to employ Boulder-area visual, performing, and literary artists to perform or create new work.

City Chooses Consultant to Assist With Final Work on the Reimagine Policing Plan
The City of Boulder announced today that it will partner with the National Policing Institute (NPI) to design and implement a strategic process for collecting feedback from the Boulder community on the Reimagine Policing (Update to the Police Department Master Plan) plan. This process will coincide with the release of a draft version of this plan later this summer.

Dad Fest will feature a classic car show, presented by Albany Parking Authority plus live music The Wheel, Sydney Worthley, and Erin Harkes on the Motor Oil Coffee Stage, great food, vendors, kids’ activities and more family fun on Sunday, June 19th from 10:00am to 4 p.m. In the event of inclement weather, Dad Fest will be held the following Sunday, June 26th, from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Auburn bass fishing team finishes second in nation after stellar season
Auburn University’s bass fishing team capped an historic season with its all-time best finish at the BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship presented by Bass Pro Shops by taking second place in the final season team standings after the two-day event concluded on May 27.

Joint Public Hearing / Special Called Planning Commission Meeting / Regular Town Council Meeting on June 13
Dayton Town Council Meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. except in the event of a Holiday, when they move to the following Tuesday. These meetings will also be available for livestream viewing via Zoom. Please note that the livestreaming is for viewing purposes only and no public comment will be allowed.
