A Powerball ticket worth $2 million was sold at a Loaf n’ Jug store in Rock Springs, Wyoming, for the drawing held on September 3. The winning ticket was a Quick Pick purchased at 3036 College Dr.

The current Powerball jackpot has reached $1.7 billion, making it the third largest in the game’s history.

Jon Clontz, CEO of WyoLotto, commented on the win: “We are very excited to have a millionaire winner in Wyoming. It may not be the jackpot, but it certainly is life changing, and we can’t wait to hand the winner a big check!”

Wyoming has seen several large lottery wins over recent years. Past prizes include $1 million from Mega Millions in Evanston on December 24, 2024; over $1.4 million from Cowboy Draw in Afton on July 8, 2024; and $3.5 million from Cowboy Draw in Casper on April 17, 2023.
