Now is the time to check your home to make sure your pipes are ready for the extremely cold weather heading our way – high of -10 on Thursday.  Some recommendations: make sure that exposed pipes have heat tape with an adequate power supply, open cabinet doors to circulate warmer air, keep your home temperature above 55, and drip water. Repairs are very expensive if pipes freeze and then burst.
