City of Bedford recently issued the following announcement.

Summer is coming and Roy Savage Pool, located at 1200 Central Dr., will open for the season on Saturday, May 28! If you’re looking to spend a summer by the pool, we’ve got you covered: 

  • Open swim is daily from noon to 5 p.m. and admission is $2. Outside food and drink is allowed, but please leave all glass and alcohol at home!
  • A ton of special events will be held at the pool throughout the summer – mark your calendars now for the Dive-in Movie, Pops at the Pool, Doggie Swim Day, and more. Visit our website for all scheduled pool events.
  • Need to sign your kiddos up for swim lessons? We have private and group lessons available for all ages. Sign up now.
  • Seniors! 50 and Better Water Aerobics will be returning every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning. 
  • The Bedford SURF Swim Team is returning for swimmers of all ages! Register online. 
  • Hosting a private party? Roy Savage Pool is available for after-hours rentals on the weekends! Email staff for more details.
