Eastern Wyoming College recently issued the following announcement.
The Eastern Wyoming College women’s rodeo team finished tied for 2nd ,with the University of Wyoming, at the annual rodeo hosted by Colorado State University April 1-3. Leading the Lancers was sophomore Karissa Rayhill who also finished 2nd in the women’s all-around race.
Rayhill won the goat tying average and finished 3rd in the barrel racing average. Fellow goat tying teammate Ryker Goodman, freshman, qualified for the short round. Sophomore Baily Coombs qualified for the short round of the barrel racing, ending up 8th overall.
Freshman Ty Moser was 5th in the tie down roping and 8th in the team roping with partner Tristan Hunter. Freshman Bridger Amiotte tied for 1st in the average of the steer wrestling.
