Ahead of Governor Mark Gordon's State of the State address to the 68th Wyoming Legislature, NFIB State Director Michael Smith has called on lawmakers to prioritize small business interests and support economic growth in Wyoming.
"Despite serious economic challenges, Wyoming small business owners continue to compete, innovate, and create good-paying jobs. Although Main Street is more optimistic about the economy following the election, inflation continues to increase costs and qualified applicants remain in short supply. More must be done to ensure family-owned businesses can create jobs, expand their operations, and thrive. NFIB will continue to work with lawmakers to make it easier to do business here in Wyoming," said Smith.
The NFIB encourages its members and other small business owners to stay informed through its Engage App. The app provides updates on legislation impacting businesses at both state and federal levels and offers ways for users to engage with lawmakers.
Users of the app receive action alerts about relevant legislation, opportunities to contact legislators, invitations for NFIB events and webinars, as well as news on NFIB’s activities for small businesses nationwide. Existing users are reminded to update their member profiles for a personalized experience.
