The Wyoming track and field teams will travel to Colorado State University for their final regular-season meet at the Doug Max Invitational, according to a May 1 announcement. The event is scheduled for Saturday at Jack Christansen Track in Fort Collins, Colorado.

The Doug Max Invitational will feature several schools including Air Force, Colorado, Colorado Christian, Colorado School of Mines, MSU Denver, Northern Colorado, UC-Colorado Springs, and host school Colorado State. Events are set to begin with men’s track races at 9:20 a.m., followed by field events starting at 10 a.m. The schedule includes steeplechase races, sprints such as the men’s and women’s 100 meters and relays like the men’s and women’s 4×400 meters.

Last weekend in Fort Collins during the Border Dual against CSU, Wyoming’s men’s and women’s teams both lost but managed seven event wins. Sophomore Koi Adderley took first place in the high jump with a mark of 1.65 meters. Senior Elayna Chafee matched her season best in the triple jump with an effort of 11.81 meters for another win.

Sophomore Eva Dellorco contributed with two relay appearances and won the women’s 200-meter dash in a time of 24.81 seconds. In distance events, sophomore Julia Rudolph secured her first individual win for Wyoming by finishing first in the women’s 1,500 meters at 4:36.09.

On the men’s side last week, freshman Jackson Aydelott won the men’s 400-meter dash with a personal best time of 47.35 seconds—good enough for eighth on Wyoming’s all-time outdoor list—and freshman Ryan Elsen claimed victory in the men’s 100 meters at 10.62 seconds. Sophomore Solomon Holden-Betts also earned his first win for Wyoming by finishing first in his debut race over 800 meters with a time of 1:50.92.
