WyoLotto employees are continuing their tradition of supporting Wyoming communities during the holiday season. The organization’s efforts this year include helping senior citizens and providing meals to people facing food insecurity.
Jon Clontz, CEO of WyoLotto, said, “Our mission to maximize giving back to Wyoming doesn’t stop at giving 75 percent of our net profits back to the state. We believe that mission means always looking for ways to contribute to the people of Wyoming and our players, especially during the holiday season.”
This year, WyoLotto is extending its activities beyond December. Staff have started visiting grocery stores across the state, beginning with a Thanksgiving week event at Safeway in Cheyenne. At these events, they distribute winter gifts, free lottery tickets, and help with grocery bills. Clontz stated, “You will be able to find us at a few grocery stores throughout the state. We started on Thanksgiving week at the Safeway in Cheyenne. We gave away awesome winter gifts, free lottery tickets and we even helped people with their grocery bills.” He encouraged residents to follow WyoLotto’s Facebook and Instagram pages for updates on future appearances.
WyoLotto will also volunteer at Meals on Wheels of Cheyenne on December 11, 2025. The organization has partnered with Meals on Wheels throughout this fiscal year for fundraising and meal support.
The company is reminding shoppers that lottery tickets are intended only for those aged 18 or older. “We love gifting someone the chance to become a millionaire! Just remember that someone needs to be at least 18 years old,” Clontz said.
