The Wyoming Animal Damage Management Board (ADMB) is inviting grant applications for special projects focusing on integrated predator management within the state. Applications can be accessed through the ADMB website or by contacting Jerry Johnson at the Wyoming Department of Agriculture. The emphasis will be on research, education, and field management concerning predator species that pose threats to crops, livestock, wildlife, or human health and safety. Grant recipients must submit an annual report detailing project benefits. The application deadline is April 1, 2025.
The ADMB will convene on May 13-14 in Casper at the Thyra Thomson building to review these requests. Details about this meeting will be released once finalized.
Established by the 1999 Legislature, the Wyoming Animal Damage Program is overseen by a 15-member board tasked with reducing damage caused by predatory animals and birds. The program aims to protect livestock, wildlife, crops, and human health through coordinated animal damage management based on scientific principles.
