Wyoming Board of Agriculture schedules April meeting in Cheyenne

The Wyoming Board of Agriculture is scheduled to meet on April 14-15, 2025, in Cheyenne at the State Capitol Extension, Room W53/W54. The meeting will commence at 1:00 pm on the first day. During this session, the Board plans to elect a new President and Vice President, set tentative meeting dates, review liaison assignments, discuss Conservation District appointments, address Weed & Pest resolutions, and consider Rangeland Health Assessment Project applications. Updates on Big Horn Sheep/Domestic Sheep plan amendments and from the Seed Lab are also on the agenda.

On April 15th, starting at 9:00 am, the Board will hear updates from the Wyoming Department of Agriculture (WDA) and its partners. The meeting is open to the public with opportunities for public comment each day.

The Board enforces rules and regulations of the Wyoming Department of Agriculture. Its seven members are appointed by the governor for six-year terms representing different geographical areas of Wyoming. Current board members include Andrew Patricl (District 1), Jim Rogers (District 2), Kim Bright (District 3), Amanda Furnival (District 4), Mike Riley (District 5), Jody Bagley (District 6), and Larry Krause (District 7). Youth Board Members are Meredith Halweg (Southeast), Benjamin Anson (Northwest), Hadley Manning (Southwest), and Lexi Bauder (Northeast).
