Wyoming Cowgirls Head Coach Heather Ezell announced on April 15 the signing of Hayley Johnson, who will join the team for the 2026-27 season.

Johnson is a 6-foot-2 forward from Sunnyvale, California. She played her first two seasons at San Jose City College. During her sophomore year, she started in 27 games and averaged 19.7 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game while shooting nearly sixty percent from the field.

Johnson helped lead San Jose City College to the second round of the California Community College Athletic Association Women’s State Basketball Championships. She scored in double figures in twenty-six games during the season, had thirteen games with more than twenty points, and recorded seven double-doubles.

As a freshman at San Jose City College, Johnson averaged nearly fourteen points and eleven rebounds per game on over fifty-five percent shooting. At Fremont High School, she also participated in volleyball and track and field.

The addition of Johnson brings experience and depth to the Wyoming Cowgirls roster as they prepare for future seasons.
