The Wyoming Weed and Pest Council will hold its next meeting on March 18 and 19 at the Washakie County Fairgrounds in Worland. The council announced that the meeting will start at noon on Wednesday, March 18, and continue through Thursday, March 19.
The meeting will begin with a welcome from the Washakie County Commissioners, followed by legislative updates and a discussion about UW Imagine. The council is expected to adjourn at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. On Thursday, the session will resume at 8:00 a.m., featuring presentations from the Wyoming Department of Audit and LGLP, OSHA training, an Employees Association Meeting during lunch, discussions about nuisance bats and Bureau of Land Management agreements, as well as other business matters.
Public comment opportunities are scheduled for both days of the meeting. The council said members of the public are welcome to attend.
The Washakie County Fairgrounds are located at 501 15 Mile Rd in Worland.
