Wyoming's National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) has initiated an advertising campaign to express gratitude towards Senator John Barrasso for his support of small businesses. The campaign underscores the senator's role in advocating for the permanence of the 20% Small Business Tax Deduction, which is at risk of expiring and potentially leading to a significant tax increase for small businesses later this year.
Michael Smith, NFIB Wyoming State Director, stated, "With the 20% Small Business Tax Deduction set to expire, millions of small businesses nationwide—including many in Wyoming—face a looming tax increase. Senator Barrasso has been a strong advocate for ensuring small businesses can compete by cosponsoring the Main Street Tax Certainty Act to make the deduction permanent and prevent a crippling tax increase. We appreciate his leadership and look to his continued support to protect small businesses."
The NFIB campaign will be broadcast on radio and digital platforms throughout Wyoming until April. Its goal is to highlight the significance of shielding small businesses from increased taxes.
