The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) has published its biennial voting record for the 67th State Legislature of Wyoming. This record evaluates lawmakers based on six critical votes affecting small business interests, including a vote on property tax reform.

Among the legislators, 38 achieved a perfect score of 100%, comprising six Senate members and 32 members from the House of Representatives. NFIB State Director Tony Gagliardi emphasized the importance of legislative awareness of Main Street issues, stating, "It’s critically important that lawmakers take the time to understand the issues Main Street faces when considering policies that could impact the cost of doing business in our state." He also acknowledged the efforts of lawmakers in tackling inflation challenges and reducing the property tax burden in Wyoming.

The NFIB clarified that its voting record does not encompass all aspects considered by legislators during voting nor does it represent a comprehensive profile of each lawmaker. The official 2024 Voting Record by the NFIB consists of these six key votes crucial to small business proprietors.

For those interested in reviewing the complete voting record, a full copy is available through the NFIB.
